Đại học Canterbury tự hào được phục vụ cộng đồng ở New Zealand và thế giới trong hơn 150 năm qua! Hiện nay, trường xếp hạng trong 2% các trường đại học hàng đầu trên toàn thế giới. Đây là cơ sở giáo dục đại học uy tín, nằm trong top 300 trường đại học hàng đầu thế giới (Bảng xếp hạng Đại học Thế giới QS 2023). Đại học Canterbury có 60 trường đại học đối tác quốc tế, hơn 3.000 kết nối nhà tuyển dụng và có tới 75 học giả quốc tế cấp cao đến thăm mỗi năm.
Trường có 3 khu học xá:
- UC Arts City: tọa lạc ở Vị trí trung tâm thành phố, UC Music và UC Classics tổ chức một số lớp học và bài giảng Nghệ thuật, các chương trình sự kiện bao gồm các buổi hòa nhạc, bài giảng, hội thảo và chuyến tham quan bảo tàng.
- Khu học xá Dovedale: là ngôi nhà của chương trình Cử nhân Màn hình Kỹ thuật số với bằng Danh dự và sáng kiến Kōawa của UC, mang đến cơ hội duy nhất cho lĩnh vực công nghệ sáng tạo nhằm thúc đẩy sự hội tụ của nền giáo dục, dự án và cơ sở vật chất đẳng cấp thế giới.
- Khu học xá Nelson: cung cấp các chương trình Giáo dục Giáo viên, bạn có thể học tập tại địa phương và trở thành một phần của cộng đồng trường học ở hòn đảo phía Nam.

3.2. Chương trình chuyển tiếp
